Alltel (NYSE:AT) is investing about $200,000 in retail stores in Charlotte, NC as part of a $90 million capital budget in North Carolina this year.
The company, which has 11 million customers nationally, has 69 stores in North Carolina and 34 in South Carolina. Eighteen of those stores are in the Charlotte metropolitan area, with plans for a new Concord outlet opening this year.
