Global telecommunications manufacturer and wireless solutions provider has an opportunity in Dallas for a strong technical leader with experience in optical transmission.
This leader will be responsible for researching the developing tendency of optical transmission, and will control the direction of optical transmission products, while being heavily involved in the development of the international technical standard.
Heavy involvement with the Sr. VP of Technology required to communicate initiatives with all senior management members of multi-national telecom operators.
Additionally, the ability to lead a team and conduct requirement analyzing, product planning, product architecture, and product development experience is required.
Phd preferred, and 10+ years of telecom experience (this person will most likely be well-published and known in the international telecom environment, preferably a member of the international optical transmission association.
