AT&T Makes Concessions on Merger

AT&T has agreed to make concessions to get unanimous Federal Communications Commission approval for its $80 billion merger with BellSouth.

Late Friday, the San Antonio-based company filed a six-page letter with the FCC saying it "would not object to the imposition of certain merger conditions" requested by the Democratic commissioners "in order to obtain expeditious unanimous approval of the merger."
